A good friend of mine asked me to make something to go with one of his writings. I gladly accepted, for I simply love reading them and I was up for a challenge.

Here's what he wrote (translated it for all of the english people out there ) :

Het gevoel van een zwarte draaiende kolk onder je hart dat nooit rust, kan niet omschreven worden als verdriet, pijn, woede of angst. Iets dat dieper ligt, iets dat al je geluk overschaduwd.
Het verlies.
Een litteken wat niet zichtbaar is maar wel gedragen wordt, soms met trots, soms met angst, soms met schaamte. Maar altijd met pijn.

The feeling of a black twisting maelstrom beneath the heart that never rests, can't be defined as sorrow, pain, anger or fear. Something that lies deeper, something that overshadows all of your happiness.
The loss.
A scar that isn't visible but still carried, sometimes with pride, sometimes with fear, sometimes with shame. But always with pain.
